Loop5
Privacy Policy
Effective: October 7, 2026
Loop5 (“the App”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the App handles, what leaves your device, and what doesn't.
1. No account required
The App doesn't require an account. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number, or address, and the provider does not collect them.
2. Information stored only on your device
The following stays on your device. It is never sent to the provider's servers, and the provider can't see it.
- Your tapes (YouTube links, video titles, thumbnail URLs, labels, colors, order, and box)
- App settings (which box is open, your theme, and whether you've seen the intro)
This information is shared only among the App, its Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, and its Share extension. If you use device backups such as iCloud, it's included in those backups. Deleting the App removes it from your device.
3. Information sent to third-party services
YouTube (video details and playback)
- When you add a tape, the App sends its link to YouTube's public API to get the video title and thumbnail.
- When you use “Play 1→5”, the App sends the video IDs in the box to YouTube to create a temporary queue.
- When you tap a tape, it opens in the YouTube app or Safari. From then on, YouTube's Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy apply.

RevenueCat (purchase management)
To process Theme Pack purchases and check whether you've bought it, the App sends your purchase history and a randomly generated identifier to RevenueCat, Inc. Your tapes and settings are never sent.
Payment details such as card numbers are handled by Apple. Neither the App nor the provider ever receives them.

Apple
Purchases are made through the App Store and are subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
4. Ads and sharing with third parties
- The App shows no ads and includes no analytics tools.
- The App does not use your information for advertising and does not sell or share it with third parties.
- The App does not track you as defined by Apple, and never asks for App Tracking Transparency permission.
5. How long information is kept
The information in section 2 stays on your device until you delete the App. The information in section 3 is kept according to each service's own policies.
6. If you live in the EU, EEA, or UK
The data controller is Tomoe Tsubota (see section 8). Purchase management through RevenueCat is based on performance of a contract—providing the Theme Pack you bought. RevenueCat, Inc. is based in the United States, so information may be transferred there. These transfers are protected by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and, for the UK, the International Data Transfer Addendum).
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your information, and to object to its processing. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Because the App has no accounts and only sends a random identifier, we may not be able to identify you from a request.
7. Children
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
