Loop5

Loop5 Support

Loop5 lets you save the YouTube songs and videos you play most—five per box, two boxes, up to ten tapes—and open them with a single tap.

FAQ

How do I add a tape?

Open a video in the YouTube app and tap Share → Loop5. If Loop5 isn't in the list, tap More at the end of the row and turn it on. You can also tap + in the top-right corner of Loop5 and paste a link.

Nothing plays when I tap a tape

Loop5 doesn't play videos itself. Tapping a tape opens it in the YouTube app (or Safari if the app isn't installed). Videos that have been removed or made private can't be opened.

Playlists aren't included in “Play 1→5”

Continuous play uses YouTube's temporary queue, which works with videos, Shorts, and live streams only. Playlist tapes are skipped.

How do I add a widget?

Touch and hold an empty area of your Home Screen, tap Edit → Add Widget, and choose Loop5. Widgets show the box that's currently open in the app, and you can switch boxes right from the widget.

I bought the Theme Pack but can't use it

Tap Themes → in the bottom-right corner of Loop5, then Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy it.

I'd like a refund

Purchases are handled by the App Store, so please request a refund through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Refunds are at Apple's discretion.

My tapes disappeared after switching iPhones

Tapes are stored only on your device. To move them to a new iPhone, transfer your data with an iCloud backup or Quick Start. You can bring the Theme Pack over with Restore Purchases.
